Utility Week Live 2024 was held on May 21-22 in Birmingham UK. It’s the premier event for the UK’s utilities industry, showcasing the latest in innovation and technology for electrical transmission and distribution. Safegrid hosted a joint booth with our local sales partner Redskye Technology Ltd.
Smart Fault Prediction™ and Smart Fault Location™
Safegrid proudly presented its innovative Smart Fault Prediction™ solution, designed to help operators transition from reactive fault correction to proactive fault avoidance. This solution, integrated within the GridGuardian® platform, generated substantial interest among visitors. We had over 40 visitors to our booth during the two days of the exhibition.
Our Smart Fault Location™ solution, with its remarkable 100m accuracy, also attracted significant attention and interest. Attendees were impressed by how this tool enhances the efficiency and reliability of fault detection and resolution.

The ability to detect hard-to-locate faults, such as intermittent earth faults, and provide real-time alerts was a highlight for many visitors. Our solutions are designed to maximize grid performance with minimal sensor density, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on accuracy and reliability.
