Safegrid and Turku Energia strengthen their cooperation through a 10-year contract

Safegrid and Turku Energia Sähköverkot have agreed on a 10-year Service Agreement regarding fault control and monitoring services of the electric grid. The parties are intensifying their cooperation regarding the monitoring of the electricity network and the related services, and the signed Service Agreement lays the foundation for the partnership for many years.

Turku Energia is the leading energy company in Southwest Finland. The company’s services cover the distribution of electrical energy and electricity, district heating and cooling, and steam, as well as network contracting and maintenance services for grids, outdoor lighting, and traffic lights.

Safegrid is the provider of the Intelligent Grid System® which helps utilities to locate, predict, and prevent grid faults and improve grid performance with instant-on wireless sensors and cloud-based monitoring and analytics. Safegrid is based in Espoo, Finland.
