Customer Success Manager

We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to join the Safegrid team in the US. This is a US-remote position. Customer Success Manager will work from their home office and collaborate with teams across different time zones. For successful collaboration this person should be located either in the Central or Eastern Time Zone. Main responsibilities are.

  • Onboard new Safegrid customers and help them get started with our products and services
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned customers, building trust and rapport
  • Collaborate with sales to support in developing and delivering engagement plans that fulfill the customer’s objectives
  • Support sales in identifying growth opportunities and technically on new customer acquisitions
  • Serve as customer advocate internally and influence Safegrid products, documentation, processes and people to improve customer satisfaction and retention

 

Definition of job content and duties

  • Provides pre and post sales, technical, and training support on operation of Safegrid products to potential and existing customers
  • Assures customer success on product deliveries to customers
  • Provides first level support to your customers via email, telephone or web based solutions
  • Supports the Sales Managers to provide demonstrations and provide technical support on quotations
  • Delivers product trainings to customers
  • Supports new product development via incorporation of customer feedback
  • Writes technical papers, application notes and instruction videos on topics related to Safegrid products
  • Participates in conferences/trade shows and other company sponsored events including committee meetings, general discussion, user group meetings and meeting with customers
  • Continuously works to upgrade skills concerning Safegrid products, grid automation & operation and presentations
  • Uses defined tools and processes on solving customer problems and support issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical power industry particularly in electrical distribution and transmission utilities
  • B.S. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the field of electric power engineering
  • Hands-on experience in working with network protection, automation & control devices, IT and data communications
  • Knowledge on geospatial information systems, corporate IT/ cloud computing and cellular networks
  • Demonstrated skills and proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack and/or other similar business collaboration tools
  • Domestic and international travel required. A valid passport and be able to obtain a valid Visa to any country required for work
  • Must be fluent English, both oral and written form
